ABOUT ME

I hooked up on my first trout at the age of three and it was so exciting I can remember the exact pole I was using. From that moment on I was hooked and it’s been a part of my life ever since. In 2003 I met my best friend and husband, Randy, who introduced me to the ocean and that’s when fishing became my passion. With so many species available we are able to fish year round catching everything from bottom fish, pelagic, sharks and the latest being lobster. At least two weekends a month we are either at our local lakes or on the ocean looking for that next burst of excitement you only get from screaming “Fish On”.

STATEMENT

I can’t lie…the hot pink logo on the front of the shirt drew me in as I am a girlie girl and love the color. But after buying the shirt and finding out what it represents, it makes me feel like I am wearing a badge of honor. This topic has touched every one of our lives in one way or another and for me it was my best friends mom. She passed away last year from breast cancer and it was a painful and difficult time to get through. I grew up calling her Mom #2 and she is missed every day. My husband was also affected by this after he found a lump under his left breast and has undergone two lumpectomy surgeries, luckily finding no cancer. When Pink Fishing came along, I jumped at the opportunity to be involved with such an awesome company that influences two aspects of my life, my love of fishing and my dedication in helping to find a cure.

ABOUT ME

My first memory of fishing was at the age of three standing
next to my dad catching a small mouth bass at Chautauqa Lake in up state New York. I continued to fish in lakes, ponds and streams until my early twenties when I went ocean fishing for the first time. I became addicted to the challenge and rush you get from catching big fish and fell in love with it. After I met my wife, Krisma, and got her hooked on ocean fishing is when it became my /our passion. I enjoy the wide range of fish available in the ocean but, fishing light tackle in the lakes and streams is my roots and I continue to fish them as often as possible. No matter where I am fishing, having my best friend Krisma, alongside me to enjoy the excitement first hand with me is just awesome!

TOURNAMENTS

Over the years I have fished in a couple open tournaments and won a few derbies with my Dad at some local lakes. I have fished one tournament this year and have 9 more scheduled.

STATEMENT

Fishing has not only been the bond between my Mom, Dad, Brother, Children and me but has allowed my wife and I to have some of the most memorable and exciting moments together. After accepting help from a local charity while my daughter underwent some surgeries. My wife and I decided it was time we gave back and helped others. We have teamed up with a local group to feed the homeless as well as help gather the necessities they need. We also volunteer our time and donate to Ronald Mc Donald house and Make a wish foundation. Now being a part of the Pink Fishing team, I can do what I love with the one I love, as I continue to help others with the fight against breast cancer. When I slip on one of the Pink fishing / Fish Junkie T-shirts it’s not just because they look cool. It is about who stands behind these shirts and what they represent. The owners are Awesome and so are all the people associated with the Company and I look forward to continue to grow with them.
