A couple years ago I saw a Facebook post from an old friend now living in Florida, with a photo of a nice fish he caught from his kayak. I decided I wanted to try it, bought my first kayak, caught a few my first time out and LOVED it. I feel at peace when I’m on the water, all the stress of the work week and life issues just vanish. Being on the water is my “Happy place”. After seeing what it was all about, and reading some of the stories, it made me think of my grandmother that I lost to cancer. At that time I KNEW I wanted to be a part of this amazing family. I am proud and honored to have been accepted to Team Pink Fishing. I will faithfully be spreading the word and “Reeling in the Cure” 1 fish at a time. |
