ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!! My name is Crystal and I am mother of 2 boys I wanted to be a part of the Pink Fishing family for a few reasons. It is an amazing organization with a great group of people. Being in a small town there wasn’t much to do. We didn’t have a lot of money, but we did live directly in between 2 lakes. Fishing wasn’t costly; we could fish all over and we have the best of fishing both open and hard water.

My father taught me how to fish and I still remember when I caught my first fish and what it looked like. I was 5, it was a bass and I was at my hometown’s yearly fishing tournament put on by the Elks Club. I ended up winning the tournament with the 1 fish and have been hooked since!!:) and I take my boys to the same tournament every year!

GOALS

My goals for 2019 would be to help sponsor Pink Fishing and promote awareness and educate others. I also will be working with children in the Essex County 4-H program teaching them all I know about fishing. I want to bring members of this community together, meet new people, and make friends. I also want to hold some amazing fundraisers with the great support system that I am lucky to have. It will be a great year!!! I look forward to working with you all.

STATEMENT

When I was 17, I lost my mother to cancer. If she was diagnosed 3 months earlier, she would still be here. I want to be involved with Pink Fishing to help bring awareness and educate others.
