Hi, my name is Misty Schmidt. I am a proud mom of 4 awesome kids from Mabank, Texas. In 2015 I was introduced to bass fishing for the first time and little did I know, it was the beginning of many new adventures in my life. I’ve met some amazing people and made some very special friends along the way. Fishing has inspired a lot of passion in my life and by sharing my experiences from tournament fishing to traveling to destination locations in the Northeast chasing smallmouth, I hope to inspire more women to pick up a rod and reel and enjoy the outdoors. When I discovered Pink Fishing I knew immediately this was an organization I needed to be a part of. Breast Cancer is something very near and dear to me from losing a dear friend from high school to my Aunt being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2016. I also have the opportunity as promotional staff for iBass360 to share my fishing adventures via blogs on their website and social media pages. In my spare time you can find me fishing with my children and friends.

WHY I WANT TO BE INVOLVED WITH PINK FISHING
When I saw Pink Fishing on Facebook for the first time, I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing organization. I lost my best friend Adrienne Hall to breast cancer when we were 22 years old. Over the years, I’ve known several women that have battled this horrible disease including my Aunt Nancy, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2016.
