About Me:I am an outdoors person that enjoys what the Midwest has to offer, fishing and hunting. I began tournament fishing in 2000. My favorite fishing partners are my wife, children and grand children. I work very well with others and have a knack for sharing new ideas with large and small groups. I am happily married for 29 years, with 3 children, 2 daughters, and one son. I also have 2 loving granddaughters. I have spent the last 29 years in the U.S. Army and plan to retire in 6 years to pursue my fishing passion, where ever it may take me.

Statement:Breast cancer runs deep on my wife’s side of the family. Over the last 29 years of our marriage, we have had the misfortune of losing some of her aunts to this dreaded disease. We have seen firsthand how breast cancer affects not only the individual, but the family and friends as well. Our neighbor of the last 20 plus years who is also a widow, had a double mastectomy, but has been cancer free for the last 10 years. It has been nice to see her still upbeat and doing things since she has been declared “cancer” free. She always has a twinkle in her eye and some sort of food for me whenever she calls for some handy work that I am more than happy to do for her. I am happy to see that a great program such as Pink Fishing has entered our fishing communities to make individuals and organizations more aware of breast cancer. I am sure that by joining the Pink Fishing staff that together we can help spread breast cancer awareness………..”one cast at a time” with such a great organization as Pink Fishing.
