ABOUT ME

I am 51 years old, married (happily for 27 years), and have 2 boys ages 21 & 17. My oldest son is currently in the U.S. Marine Corps and I am very proud of his decision to serve and protect this GREAT Country! My youngest son is a senior in High School and will be graduating in the next few months and plans to go to college. I was born in Abilene, Texas but moved to California before I was 1. I have lived in Saugus almost my entire life and teach and coach at Saugus High School, which happens to be my Alma mater as well. I began fishing at an early age and was introduced to the sport by my Great Grandfather. His passion and love for the sport is what I still remember to this day! He was always tinkering with baits while thinking outside the box. I think of him every time I’m on the water!! I love the sport of Bass fishing and started the first High School Bass Club in my area with the hope that I can pass on my love and passion while educating the students about this great sport we love!!! I currently fish the Best Bass Tournament (BBT) trail and am weigh master. Castaic Lake, Pyramid Lake, Piru Lake, Perris Lake, Diamond Valley Lake, Santa Margarita Lake, and Lopez Lake. I also love to fish Lake Havasu in Arizona.

GOALS

I want to pass on my love and passion for Bass fishing to young people. I also want to help “Reel in the Cure” by spreading the word about breast cancer and early detection.

STATEMENT

As is the case with so many families, mine has been affected by this terrible disease and I want to do whatever I can to help find a cure. I look forward to representing Team Pink Fishing at all my tournaments and fishing outings!! Together we WILL Reel in the Cure!!! WE WILL WIN THIS BATTLE!!!
